Ain't Nothing New...
in my life today, as Supertramp artfully recorded, years ago. Son has borrowed pick-up truck to commute to and from work. Bike is still down (at least I have not tried to start it up again after the "no oil pressure" problem of two weeks October 13th); don't know when I'll have the money to get it into the shop. Have to re-up with AAA also - membership expired yesterday. Finished one green mohair "shawlette" or whatever it's called - "capelet" - that's it. Won't fit over MY shoulders, but would do for a normal circumferenced lady. I wore it as a cowl this morning. Doesn't look like much, but it was better than being bare-headed. Think I'll make more, only takes one little cake of Filatura Di Crosa laceweight mohair (it's 275 yards as opposed to the yardage on the Madil Kid Seta or Rowan's Kidsilk Haze at about 225 yards, a bargain!) unless I go for a larger circumference, then I'll probably need part of a second ball.
Shonnie is going for softball again this coming season. Yea!!!!! A sport I can understand! Time to dust off the bats and hit the batting cages at Mulligan's - the batting cages at Alpine Village are too expensive, at $30 per half-hour.
Um. What else? Nada for the moment. Question: Why don't other CBS shows have message boards on cbs.com?
