Lots of UFO's and WIPS

Hm, why did I long in today? Nothing much is new, lots of knitting but nothing finished to show for it. Trying the two circular needles/two socks at one time method which seems stultifyingly slow - but I want identical twins, not fraternal twins (the last result of my sock knitting).

Most important thing to remember from now on: Do not bring into the house, nor buy, anything for which there is no room. So much for adding to my stash! The pre-New Year resolution is, as of today, no more yarn or fabric - with the caveat that little bits may be bought to complete an ongoing stash-reduction project.

Let's see: three or four pairs of socks - one with the traditional five-needle pattern and the rest are two-circular experiments (have not progressed beyond the toe yet).

It's already past the middle of November and none of the knitted gifts have been cast on yet. Uh, oh.

My son is regrettably publishing on HIS blog the heartache of a spurned young lady. How could I have raised such a heartless child?

In the meantime, my daughter is doing well with her now one-year-old marriage. The older granddaughter is a teenager IN SPADES, and the younger one is becoming a soccer league player. Playoff game in less than an hour! Very exciting for us all!
