Learning Annex: Pfft!

Personal Rant: In February, 2007 I decided to sign up for a Learning Annex event. I was shocked and dismayed to find an unexpected charge in March automatically deducted by the Learning Annex for a "membership" in MYLEARNINGANNEX. I was told by the "counselor" when I made my purchase in February that a complimentary 14-day trial of MYLEARNINGANNEX was included, but registration had to be completed; unless I decided to register and agreed to renew the subscription, I would not be charged. Surprise! I never registered for the corollary membership, yet lo and behold, Learning Annex charged my account.

I'm still trying to get a $29.95 refund from some Herbalife shill, another company with shoddy and deceptive business practices, totally bereft of conscience.

Makes me want to become a hermit.
